Generation X - Demo 2-77

Here is the first demo Generation X recorded in February 1977. This sometimes gets traded around as the Chiswick demo. Three songs from it were used on the Perfect Hits vol. 1 7" ep bootleg that got released in 1977. The demo is the raw uncut tape so you can here a bit of chatter in-between songs and a couple false starts.  I had to remove a lot of tape hiss from the demo and the sound quality is good. The sound quality on the ep is very good.

Blood Circus/Slang - Chatterbox, San Francisco 2-24-89

Blood Circus were a Seattle band and released one album on SubPop Records in 1989. Slang was a relatively unknown band outside San Francisco but they were the best. The line up on this show featured Bomber and Barry who were previously members of RKL. This line up recorded a demo but never released anything. With different members the band continued into the early 1990s and were very popular in San Francisco. In the 1990s they released one or two CDs but with a different style than they play on this show. These sets were recorded from the audience and the sound quality is good.

A-10 - Demo/Live/Rehearsal 1987

A-10 were and international group from London that featured members from England, Australia, France and Italy. This is the line up with the original guitarist that released one single in 1987 after which he had to go back to Australia because his visa ran out. The band continued into the mid 1990s and released several records with different guitarists. Sadly, the singer, Lee Robinson, died a few years ago in Spain. The sound quality on the demo is very good. The live show was recorded from the audience and is good sound quality. The rehearsal was recorded with a cassette recorder and the sound quality is good, as well.

Pigs - 1977/2009 /2010

These Pigs were from Bristol England and released one of the best Punk records ever in 1977 before disappearing into the mists of time. As it turns out the band recorded a full album of songs that went unreleased until recently. They've also been playing some reunion gigs around England in the last couple years. Both live shows here I copied off of videos that have been posted on YouTube. Both shows are recorded from the audience and have good sound quality. They also have a newly recorded album out now.
