From Oslo Norway. The band started when two members of Barn Av Regnbuen moved from their hometown of Harstadt Norway to Oslo. There they found a new drummer, added a singer and changed the name of the band to Life But How To Live It. They also wrote all new songs. Sound quality on everything is very good. The live show was recorded through the soundboard and was their third or fourth ever live show.

So many thanx. I didnt have the Copehagen show, so now i`m glad all over :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way the singer Katja is from Oslo and the drummer Dyret (Animal in english) is from Bodø.
OMG. I am salivating. This band had the greatest impact on me. In Phoenix, AZ, USA. Thanks so much for posting this.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Thanks so much for this! :)
ReplyDeleteHell!
ReplyDeleteI felt in love with the band 20 years ago: I wished I could play guitar like Roger and drink Jägermeister with Katja to the end of all days. Since then I saw a lot of HC-shows, but I never found moments like that again.
This means emotional Hardcore to me. Having a say 'bout things we had to deal with. Joy, aggressions, love and hate. Standing outside the "capitalism is winning, so you had to behave"-society in that days. I hear that sound, watch the videos, and I know we're right. Still.
Thanks for your comments Merhaba bleibt! Life were a great band and I did get to see them once in May 1989 at Van Hall in Amsterdam and I saw them rehearse once in Oslo in 1990. Roger and his brother have a new band. I forget the band name but they sound great. Their new recordings are available on the internet.
ReplyDeleteRoger's new band is Danger!Man. Video here:
