Here's two live show and a demo that feature Jeff Dahl on Lead Vocals. Jeff was only in the band for one year and in that time they released only the Queer Pills ep. The Vex show is an audience recording and the sound quality is good. The New York show is a soundboard recording and the sound quality has very good. The demo also has very good sound quality. Some of the songs from the demo and the New York show were released in 1990 on an LP and an ep on Shakin' Street Records in England.

Great upload man, love the Samoans. Love Jeff Dahl too, he's done some great solo stuff too. Don't spose you have live Jeff Dahl solo at all? Thanks again! D
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this. Just grabbed the New York show. I brought it on vinyl when it came out but oddly enough your tape has a much better sound than the 'official' vinyl album, go figure... also on the vinyl they chopped 'Hitlers Cock' (for want of a better expression) from the album live set and only released it on the b-side of the EP which really sucked (chopping it I mean, not the EP, which was great btw...). Thanks again. D
ReplyDeleteThanks for these, good band.
ReplyDeleteD, I have two Jeff Dahl show that I will digitize soon.
ReplyDeleteCool! I look forward to that :-) D
