China White - Live1981/1983

This China White was the Los Angeles, Frontier recording artists China White and should not be confused with any metal or other bands who also went by that name. The whiskey 7-04-81 show is a soundboard recording and the sound quality is very good. The three other shows are audience recordings. The Stardust show was recorded from the back of the Ballroom and is not good sound so is only for collectors. The other two show are good sound quality. The Sun Valley show was a reunion show. Does anyone know the unknown song titles?

  3. Yeah bro, I said in my intro that recording was only for collectors. I only upped it because it has one unreleased song that some people might like to strain through the generations to hear.

  5. The unknown song on the Whiskey show on 4-20-81 is "Read Between the Lines." Too bad that was never on a record. I love that song.

  7. Hey, its the same guy that posted a complaint about the sound quality @ Stardust. I also heard you do your best at remastering sound quality, is that right? If so, I found a bootleg of the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club, 7-6-76 (the complete show) in EVEN WORSE QUALITY I can not even make out a single bit of it. (And no I do not mean the excellent quality recording with only 5 out of the 12 songs from it.) I'll give you the link from Pil Head's Sex Pistols Blog...try your best to listen to it and also try to give it a shot of remastering if possible: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QLRO8XUC

(Please note this file contains the excellent source of only 5 songs (No Fun and Substitute from this source are stacked into one), and the complete show in awful quality stacked into one un-split file of 45 minutes so, play through the complete show and you'll hear how AWFUL it is.)

But hey, even if the Stardust show China White played is terrible quality, I tried turning some knobs on my EQ the next time I listened and found out its a pretty exciting listen, especially Dangerzone! Then again, I am not really upset about sound quality...it's a little hard to listen to but hey at least its good to show for the completists aruond here. ^^ And be aware I am not blaming you... you just keep on trying your best remastering and keep this blog running with lots of new posts because its possibly one of my favorite blogs out there, thanks! I especially do like how you discuss information about them...it rather gives a great and effective introduction to them. =D
