Here's three nice live shows from LaPeste. The first two feature Peter Dayton on Guitar and Vocals, The third show features Ian Kalinosky on Guitar and Vocals along with Mark Andreasson on bass and Roger Tripp on drums. The Rat show is a radio broadcast and, apart from three songs, was released on an LP titled LaPeste on Matador Records in 1996. Sound quality is very good. The Cantone's show is from a video tape and the sound quality is raw. The 1980 show is from a radio broadcast and the quality is very good.

the Wers show was released on LP,probably a bootleg, with the same black cover used later for a Matador release,i find it in the '90's at a record fair (and sold it later...)cheers
ReplyDeleteYes, that LP was a bootleg and had a couple incorrect song titles. Now you can have the show uncut without the pops and clicks that vinyl adds.
ReplyDeleteTrack 7 on 1978's show is "Acid Test" (except cut off)!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that song title!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these 3 live shows! I don't care if the quality is raw, it still sounds as if it was a very good performance. By the way, I have a print of the exact same Cantone's show, but my copy of the Cantone's show says 4-4-78.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the date on the Cantones show.
