Black Market Baby were another of the D.C. bands that were outside the discord scene but were very popular in there. They only released one album and a single in the 1980s. This show was recorded from the audience and is a little rough and a classic example of tapes were not a perfect format for music because the first song suffers from tape warp. Still this show sounds like it was a hot night in D.C.

ReplyDeleteThe other songs are on the bitzcore lp's.Came out in 1991. In the 80's they had also a 10'' out with the nurses. Split release. I think only testpressings were made

ReplyDeleteDr. Strange reissued some BMB stuff on CD, but the sound is off, seems like the guitars were buried.
