Toxic Reasons - Love Hall, Philadelphia 3-27-83

Here's a Toxic Reasons show by request. Bruce Stuckey does the singing and they play many songs from their forthcoming album Killed By Remote Control. This show was the first time I saw Toxic Reasons and they were great! The show was recorded from the soundboard so the sound quality is very good. Since every show at Love Hall was filmed there is probably a video of this show out there somewhere.

  1. This is great! Amazing blog, glad I found it.

Just for the heck of it, there's a cool video of Iron Cross at Love Hall the same year from the 80's Punk Videos blog -- http://80spunkvideos.blogspot.com/2010/02/iron-cross-philadelphia-pa-1983.html

  2. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You. One of my favorites. I used to help do a label during the early 90s and the other guy saw them during the mid 80s and would constantly remind me. We both loved the band so much that we did a couple TR releases. Great band and I cannot wait to hear the tape!

  3. Convertido, I am sure you will enjoy this show. I used to love them back in the day, too, and saw them many times between 1983 and 1986. They were great every time!

  4. Anonymous, Thanks for the link to the Iron Cross video. I was at that show and it was the first time I saw them. I have to tell you, though, that Iron Cross played so many times in Philadelphia in those days that I just can't even listen to them anymore (since then) or watch a video of them. But, I'm sure plenty of people will be interested in getting that video.
