Here's another Eddie & The Hotrods show. This one is a radio broadcast from a club near New York City and was recorded in the year they broke up. By the time this was recorded both Paul Gray and Graeme Douglas had left and instead of adding a second guitarist a keyboard player was added which contributed to a more subdued sound. However, there is still plenty of energy in their delivery making this show a very enjoyable listen and their set includes many songs from the Fish 'n' Chips album along with the expected hits.

Heroes - Max's, NYC 6-26-81 (w/Walter Lure)
After The Heartbreakers split at the end of 1977, Walter Lure played and recorded through the late 1970s and early 1980s with several bands including The Blessed and The Incognitos. Two songs he recorded in 1978 (Seven Day Weekend and Too Much Junkie Business) didn't get released on vinyl until 1983 under the band name The Heroes which at the time was his current band. The Heroes of 1983 never released anything but someone was nice enough to to make this audience recording of one of their gigs. A few Heartbreakers songs are played, a couple of covers and a pile of new songs, some of which were only released in the 1990s on the Waldos Rent Party CD and others remain unreleased. The band: Walter Lure - Guitar & Vocals, Richie Lure - Guitar & Vocals, Danny - Bass, Billy Rogers - Drums.

Eddie & The Hotrods - BBC In Concert 8-80
Eddie & The Hotrods often get lumped in with Punk Rock but basically came out of the Pub Rock scene in England in the mid-1970s. They certainly were more high energy that your average Pub Rock band. This show, I believe, features the classic line up playing songs from the Life On The Line and Thriller albums plus a selection of songs that were probably intended for a fourth album by this line up that never got released until the Curse Of The Hotrods album was released in 1990.

Radiators From Space - Southend, Kursaal England 12-17-77
Radiators From Space were Dublin Ireland's first Punk band and are mainly known today because guitarist Phil Chevron became famous afterward in The Pogues. The Radiators released their first album in 1977 and at the end of that year were the tour support, on their first UK tour, for Thin Lizzy. This show was the last gig on that tour. There are no unreleased or rare tracks here just a nice soundboard recording. More info here: http://www.theradiators.tv/newhistory%20pt%202.htm

Sadistic Exploits - Collection 1981-1985
Sadistic Exploits were Philadelphia's favorite Punk citizens and were the ones who really got things rolling in that city by organizing several Punk festivals and other gigs starting in 1981. In that year they also released their only single, now a classic of the time. Unfortunately due to members coming and going they were never able to realize their full potential as the best band from Philly. In 1985 they were able to get one last song released on an impossible to find compilation LP. Collected here are the three songs they released plus a demo, rehearsal and an interview. MC5 - New York City 1-70
The MC5 were sonic brilliance and here's another live show to prove it. It's a great recording from the soundboard but seems to have been left out of the release absolutely every recording by the MC5 boom that occurred 10 years ago. Don't know why, but here are three songs that were not released in their time including a more rocked up, less free-form, version of Black To Comm.
