Barn Av Regnbuen - Part 1; Oslo + rehearsal 1985/1986

Barn Av Regnbuen were originally from the little town of Harstad in the Lofoten Islands of Norway, which is above the Article Circle. They are one of the few Punk bands to come from the top of the world. In 1985 they released a 7"ep on the X-Port Plater label. On this live show they are playing at the famous Blitz squatted house. There are a few songs on this show that never got released. It was recorded from the audience and the sound quality is pretty good. The rehearsal was on the end of the tape and I have no other information about it.

Platzangst - Demo + Krawall 2000, Hamburg 8-06-84

Platzangst were my favorite German band in the early 1980s. They existed from 1979 until 1985. In 1983 they had two songs on the Waterkant Hits compilation LP of bands from Hamburg Germany and this was their only official vinyl release. They recorded a demo in 1984 and also had songs on several compilation tapes. In 1985 they changed their name to Public Enemy 23 and released a 6 song 12" ep before splitting up in 1986. The demo has great sound quality and the live show was recorded from the audience and the sound quality is pretty good.

Black Market Baby - Washington D.C. 11-29-84

Black Market Baby were another of the D.C. bands that were outside the discord scene but were very popular in there. They only released one album and a single in the 1980s. This show was recorded from the audience and is a little rough and a classic example of tapes were not a perfect format for music because the first song suffers from tape warp. Still this show sounds like it was a hot night in D.C.
