Destroy All Monsters - part 1; Live in 1978

Destroy all Monsters were from Detroit Michigan and featured ex-members of Stooges, Ron Asheton, and MC5, Michael Davis, along with the amazing Niagara on lead vocals. They existed between 1976 and 1985 and in that time they only managed to release three singles and had one song on a comp. LP. There are a few unreleased songs songs here. The Wilson Theatre show was recorded from the audience and is a little raw. The Pittsburgh show was recorded through the soundboard and the sound quality is pretty good.

  2. Correction, they formed in 1973...not 1976. But still, Destroy All Monsters were fucking great with it's avant-punk sound...Thank you for the upload!!

  3. This version of the band existed between 1976 and 1985. I don't think anyone here is interested in their avant-garde sound before Ron Asheton joined the band. Maybe there are a few, though.
