Found this in the bottom of a box. It's not my list and I don't remember who it was from but it could give an idea of what was/is out there in tape trade land. Most of the stuff on it I never had. Some good stuff, too. The list is from around 1985.
just found your blog, I was wondering do you have a copy of Jimmy Nortons Explosion live at the Nags Head? I see you already posted the Peel session, would love to hear a copy of the gig if you have it? All the best
Pil Head, Yeah, sorry, I don't have that show. I'd love to hear it myself. Here's a guy who has it on his trade list: http://www.freewebs.com/andythorley/punkcdrlist.htm Look in the "N" section. I haven't tried to contact him yet.
I remember the list, got it also if I remember correctly it was from a guy called Eckehard and he was owner of a small Punk record Shop in Hamburg Germany. In the 90s he got drugproblems and disappears but was back in 2005 and looked horrorble. He tried to start a record label called vince lombardys rock n roll highschool records but I heard he disappeared again.Sorry for my bad english.Cheers from Hamburg.
Hello Pedder, I think this list is actually from Jurgen who runs Bitzcore Records. I traded with him for a few years before he started that label. Sorry to hear about Eckehard. I have been in a few small record shops in Hamburg back in the day and always found great records. I have been to Vince Lombardi record shop in 1989 or 1990 and I also have a Noise Annoys single on the Vince Lombardi label. Cheers.
nice list, certainly coming from a german bloke...
